It’s not so surprising, that over my rather extended time here on earth I’ve been able to observe many things. Some good; some bad, while most are found somewhere in between.
I know that ALL of us, yes ALL of us have been through bad stretches in our lives. In fact, you might be going through something at this very moment. But, I’ve also learned that the universe has a way of correcting and balancing things out over time. Your time is coming.
One thing I’ve come to realize and take comfort in and this is from my own personal experience, is regardless of how bleak and black life may seem at that time, the sun always rises the next morning.
I’m sure, many of us feel or have felt at times, “will this terrible season of my being ever end; will my life ever return to some level of normalcy?” To be honest, I can’t answer that question.
But, one thing I do know is it is always darkest before the dawn.
You see, the sun always rises. It always presents the opportunity to wipe the slate clean of the previous day and the chance to start something new and glorious. Something spectacular; something that perhaps might be your destiny.
So, don’t despair; don’t give up hope. Today may be kind of crappy….maybe real crappy. But rest assured that the sun will rise tomorrow and it will shine its glory across your life. Maybe tomorrow or maybe it was even today as the sun rose…..it was or will be your day of destiny!
Lynn got up real early one day when we stayed at Dalvay-by-the-Sea in Prince Edward Island National Park. She was bound and determined to capture a PEI sunrise. I think she did a pretty decent job of it.
